摘要

从2020年9月开始，北京大学科学技术与医学史系开始面向全校开设《当代科技史》通识公选课，由韩启德院士讲授课程开篇导论。本文系在其讲稿基础上精练改写而成。作者在其中对当代科技史的脉络和主线进行了简明扼要的系统梳理，将自己对于当代科技发展的观察和理解凝练其中，可以激发读者对当代科技史的兴趣和思考。

thor gives a concise and systematic review of the history of contemporary science and technology. The author's observations and understandings of the development of contemporary science and technology

which have been condensed into this article

stimulate readers′ interest in and the reflections on history of contemporary science and technology.
