摘要

奥地利量子物理学家薛定谔在其著作《生命是什么？》中从物理学的视角阐述了对于生命本质的基本看法，并提出一些新的概念。薛定谔的思想具有一定的局限性，但《生命是什么？》在分子生物学的诞生过程中起到了催化作用。

Abstract

In his book " What is Life？" Austrian quantum physicist Erwin Schrödinger explained the basic views on nature of life from the physics perspective， and put forward some new concepts. Though Schrödinger's thoughts had certain limitations， "What is life？" played a catalytic role in the birth of molecular biology.
