摘要

古建筑避雷问题是科技史和建筑史上的一项未解之谜，长期以来关于古建筑避雷问题的个案研究无法给出中国古建筑避雷效应的“整体性描述”。本文运用概率统计方法，分析了我国现存602座20 m以上高层古塔、大殿的高度、材料、朝代、功能类型、雷电活动区域、地形、地物、林木覆盖率与其雷击率间的关系，探讨了中国古建筑整体上的避雷效应及避雷效应的保护策略。

Abstract

Lightning protection for ancient buildings is an unsolved mystery in the history of technology and architecture. Case studies have long failed to provide an overall description of the lightning protection effect of the Chinese ancient buildings.This paper， using probability and statistical methods， analyzes the relationship between the lightning strike rate of the 602 Chinese existing over twenty-meter-high ancient towers and halls， and their height， materials， dynasties， functional types， lightning activity areas， terrain， landforms， and forest coverage rates. It also explores the overall lightning protection effect of the Chinese ancient buildings and the protection strategies for lightning protection effects.
