The Editorial Department of "Emerging science and technology " warmly welcomes contributions from authors at home and abroad. To ensure the originality and rigor of academic research and to promote a healthy academic atmosphere, authors are kindly requested to pay attention to the following points when submitting their work:

1.Submission

1.1 How to Submit

Please submit your manuscript online through the Author Submission System.

1.2 Timeline

After receiving the manuscript, the editorial department will generally inform the authors within three months whether the manuscript has been accepted. If you have not received a notification about the handling of the manuscript after three months, you may log in to the system or call the editorial department to inquire. Manuscripts considered for acceptance that require multiple revisions must be revised within a maximum of one month after each notification of the review comments; failure to revise within this period will be considered as an automatic withdrawal of the manuscript.

1.3 Liability for Content

Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their manuscripts. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Copyright Law, the journal has the right to make textual amendments and abridgments to the manuscripts submitted. If there are changes that affect the original meaning, the author's opinion will be sought. If you disagree with any deletions or changes, please declare this in advance. If you wish to submit your manuscript to another journal, please contact us first and do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals. Manuscripts that have been published in non-public periodicals, presented at academic conferences, or published in another language do not constitute duplicate submission, but the author must specify this when submitting.

1.4 Copyright

Once a manuscript is accepted, the exclusive right to use the paper shall belong to the Editorial Department of "Emerging science and technology " once the author signs the publishing agreement. The journal has the right to publish the paper in other forms such as electronic journals, CDs, and online distribution.

1.5 Manuscript Requirements

(1) Our journal accepts forward-looking, landmark, and leading research achievements in the fields of natural science and interdisciplinary areas, including but not limited to new generation artificial intelligence, quantum technology, integrated circuits, brain science and brain-like science, genetics and biotechnology, clinical medicine and health, deep space, deep earth, deep sea, and polar exploration science, technology and engineering frontiers.

(2) Scope of acceptance: Review papers (Review); Perspective papers (Perspective); Original research papers (Article); Science and Technology News (News).

(3) Manuscripts should be focused, concise, and accurate in citations and data, with clear figures and tables. Submissions should include titles, author names, affiliations, city and postal codes in both Chinese and English, as well as abstracts and keywords. The source of funding for the research should be indicated on the first page.

(4) The measurements and units in the article should conform to the national standard "Quantities and Units."

(5) The references cited should be from publicly published books and articles. The selection of references should follow the principles of comprehensiveness, timeliness, representativeness, and fairness, focusing on the quality of the literature and a reasonable combination of domestic and foreign literature.

(6) The text, figures, tables, and data of the manuscript must not involve state secrets; authors must submit their work to their institution's confidentiality review department for a confidentiality review of the paper (work) before submitting it to our journal; any confidentiality issues that arise will be the responsibility of the author.

1.6 Review Process

The journal follows the principles of fairness, justice, and merit-based acceptance. The review process consists of an initial review by the editorial department, a primary review by the editor-in-chief and the managing editor, peer review by two or more experts, and a final review by the editor-in-chief.

1.7 Manuscript Inquiry

After receiving the manuscript, the editorial department will provide a corresponding registration number. To inquire about the progress of the handling of the manuscript, please log in to the website office system's "Author Submission Inquiry," or if you have questions, you may call the editorial department directly.

2. Notes for Authors

(1) Once an article is published, the journal's editorial department will pay the author a fee and send a copy of the issue. After publication, "Emerging science and technology " will be indexed in databases, including but not limited to the CNKI database in China. The copyright usage fee for papers included in the database is covered by the fee paid by the editorial department.

(2) The journal's editorial department has the long-term exclusive right to use the articles as stipulated by the Copyright Law. If authors wish to republish articles that have appeared in this journal or other public publications, they must obtain written consent from the editorial department of this journal in advance and comply with relevant regulations. Authors with special requests may consult with the editorial department.

(3) To better promote and display your article, we kindly ask authors to provide an image closely related to the theme of the article. If the author does not provide such an image, it will be assumed that you agree to allow the "Emerging science and technology " editorial department to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to generate an illustration for your article for promotional purposes.

(4) Review articles should generally contain between 8,000 to 15,000 words and provide abstracts in both Chinese and English of no more than 300 words, along with 3 to 5 keywords.
