摘要:This article analyzes the talent projects in environmental chemistry of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) during 2018—2023 in the aspects of the application, the acceptance, the review, the funding, and the research team of Distinguished Young Scholar Fund and Excellent Young Scholar Fund. In general, talent projects in environment chemistry have made a breakthrough and the funding amounts increased obviously, especially in the areas of atmosphere, water, radiochemistry and toxicology, whereas the areas of theoretical environmental chemistry, the soil pollution and remediation chemistry, solid waste pollution and disposal chemistry, the biosafety and the protective chemistry need to be strengthened and the talent echelon in these areas need to be cultivated increasingly. The results will be helpful for talents cultivation in the disciplinary development of environmental chemistry.

摘要:Sorption-based atmospheric water harvesting (SAWH) technology is a new approach to obtain fresh water, which solves the problem of water demand in the absence of conventional water resources. SAWH relies on sorbents to capture water vapor and release water when heated. The released water vapor was finally condensed into liquid water. The key to improve the efficacy of SAWH system lies in the invention of high-performance water sorption materials and the optimization of high efficiency and low energy consumption SAWH systems. This review summarizes the principle of SAWH technology and the water capture mechanism of water vapor sorbents, and reviews the sorption properties and research progress of four types of water vapor sorbents commonly used in recent years (i.e., porous carbon materials, inorganic polymers, organic polymers and hygroscopic salts). The paper also summarizes the design and optimization ideas and methods of SAWH systems. Finally, it mentions the future prospect of the development of SAWH technology.

摘要:e-e Coulomb interaction plays an essential role in condensed matter physics. When interaction energy between electrons is dominating over kinetic energy, interesting quantum phases such as magnetism and correlated insulator can emerge. Recently, such e-e correlation effects in two-dimensional (2D) electronic systems, especially their twisted moiré superlattices, have been a cutting-edge topic. This paper introduces briefly the latest theoretical and experimental progresses based on a particular model: synergetic interplay between two layers of 2D interacting electronic system, and the emerging phenomena.
摘要:There is widespread concern for emerging contaminants because of their risks to aquatic environment in recent years. In this study, the ecological risks of endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) and pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) in the Yellow River basin were ranked, based on their environmental exposure dataset and ecotoxicity dataset, and the prioritized chemicals in different reaches and hot spots were identified. The results show that EDCs and PPCPs were deemed to represent higher risk to aquatic organisms, such as 17β-estradiol, estrone, 4-tert-octylphenol, 7α-ethynylestradiol, Estriol and Triclocarban. Compared with the upper reaches of the Yellow River basin, the middle and the lower reaches have greater ecological risks, among which the risk of erythromycin, doxycycline and sulfadimethoxine are relatively higher in different reaches. The concentrations of many chemicals in the Bahe River, a tributary of the Yellow River, were found to be the highest, being the hot spot of the pollution area in the Yellow River basin, followed by the tributaries in Henan section, the tributaries in Shandong section and the Fenhe River.

摘要:Salt lake is a saline water body with a high salt content, being an extreme type of lake. It is the product of comprehensive effects of multiple factors, multiple sources, and extreme environments. China is one of the few countries in the world with modern salt lake development, with over a thousand salt lakes (including dry salt lakes), mainly concentrated in the central and western regions and the northeastern regions. Yuncheng Salt Lake is located in the southeastern part of the Yuncheng Basin in Shanxi Province. It is the third largest sodium sulfate type inland lake in the world, the largest salt lake in North China, and one of the larger brine lakes in China. The water body in the Yuncheng Salt Lake area is extremely complex. In addition to the central salt lake in the region, there are many other water bodies covering the periphery of the salt lake. These water bodies include four types of natural water bodies, namely freshwater water, mixed salt water, true salt water, and high salt water. This paper reviews the research progress of algae in Yuncheng Salt Lake in the past decade, including flora classification, community structure characteristics and their relationship with salinity, algal resource species and optimized cultivation, and molecular biology of Dunaliella salina. Finally, it summarizes the current challenges faced in this research field, and proposes the research directions in the future.
摘要:Halophiles are a special kind of microorganisms that grow well in certain concentrations of salt, such as salt lakes, saline-alkali lands, salt pans, and saline foods, etc., and it is also an important component of the extremophilic microorganism. Special living environment leads to the unique gene types, physiological structure, and metabolic mechanism of the halophiles, which provide important material for the study of the biological evolution, the origin of life, and the biodiversity. In addition, halophiles also produces a variety of novel bioactive substances, which have important development and utilization value in the fields of food, medicine, and environmental protection, etc. This paper introduces briefly the types of halophiles, the taxonomic status, the halophilic mechanisms, and various bioactive substances and their application.
摘要:Quantum information technology has become the star technology that countries around the world are competing for, and the huge transformative power it contains has become the world’s consensus. The major developed countries in Europe and America have listed it as key priority technology, and have carried out large amounts of planning and layout in terms of strategy formulation, resource integration, and talent training. This paper systematically sorts out the policy evolution of quantum information technology in Europe and America, and finally extracts some enlightenment for the development of China's quantum information technology and even the cutting-edge technology.

摘要:Neonicotinoids are highly efficient compounds with low toxicity that have attracted much attention in the world insecticide market. Chiral neonicotinoids have different insecticidal efficacy, potential toxicity and environmental behaviour due to the difference in their individual optically pure isomers. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively investigate their stereoselectivity. This paper reviews the stereoselectivity of three chiral neonicotinoids (cycloxaprid, paichongding and sulfoxaflor) that were newly marketed in recent years. We expect to provide data support for the future development of single-isomer pesticides with both efficacy and environmental benefits, as well as for the governmental regulation, to help pollution control and ecological health protection.
摘要:The prosperity of industries holds primary significance in China's rural revitalization strategy. To achieve the industrial prosperity, rural areas need continuously focus on building a specialized industrial technology system. In the early stages of the reform and opening-up, Hengzhou City in Guangxi began to develop the jasmine industry technology. After experiencing such developing bottlenecks as oversupply, aging varieties, homogeneous competition, low added value, and single business model, the jasmine industry technology gradually embarked on a systematic development path of extending the technology chain, cultivating industry branches, enhancing industrial momentum, developing independent brands, building a market system, and developing industrial culture. Hengzhou jasmine industry has provided practical experience for the industrial prosperity across the country.

摘要:China is one of the oldest zinc smelting countries in the world. Chinese scholars have carried out research on traditional zinc smelting for more than a century. However, a lack of historical records on the process of zinc smelting limits the further study of traditional zinc smelting. Records of zinc smelting before the Ming dynasty have not been found yet. This paper sorts out the materials scattered in the literature, and finds a zinc-smelting text recorded by Su Shi in the Northern Song dynasty. It is the earliest record of zinc smelting in China, suggesting that the primitive zinc smelting already existed in China as early as in the 11th century. The process recorded in Su Shi's text is extremely enlightening and provides new materials for solving some important controversies in the history of zinc smelting in the world.

摘要:Agricultural proverbs, which are derived from the experience of the working people, are valuable cultural heritage in agriculture. The “Three Powers ” theory, referring to heaven, earth and human, is the core and essence of traditional Chinese agronomy. The rice cultivation experience summarized in the proverbs in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions conforms to the theoretical viewpoints of the ancient agricultural books, e.g. Qimin Yaoshu, Chenfu’s Nongshu and Wangzhen’s Nongshu, and contains the theoretical thoughts of "Three Powers". "Heaven" factors such as wind, rain, clouds, solar terms and farming seasons, as well as "earth" factors such as land, soil and soil fertility, are important basis to predict the time of rice sowing and reaping , and harvest or failure of the rice. "Human" factors such as selection of seeds, irrigation, plowing and weeding, pest control and the use of agricultural tools directly determine the rice output. The heaven, earth and human factors in rice cultivation proverbs are an organic whole of the interaction between the natural factors and the human factors. It reflects the philosophical concept of "harmony between human and nature". The rice cultivation proverbs in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions have been passed down for generations, and are still playing very important application value in modern rice cultivation.
